Fresh Food Restaurant was founded in 2015 by Thuladu Mngadi, who turned her retrenchment into an opportunity. With her pension payout, she bought kitchen equipment and started selling meals at Durban Station.
What began as a humble food stand has grown into a thriving restaurant and catering company—serving commuters, families, professionals, and high-profile events across South Africa.
Today, Fresh Food is proudly run by Thuladu and her daughter, Maluti, blending tradition, innovation, and family legacy.
